In honor of the tenth anniversary of the attacks on 9/11, the City of Minneapolis is hosting its tenth annual memorial concert. At the Lake Harriet Band Shell a Memorial concert, a display of First Responders (all branches of the US Military, police, paramedics, and fire departments will be represented). Patriotic music, waving of the American flag, moments of reflection and the night ending with fireworks. The Minneapolis Uptown Rotary Club volunteered to hand out candles and American flags.

Members of the Minneapolis Uptown Rotary Club recently visited the new facility of Ready, Set, Smile, a nonprofit dedicated to improving oral health access and education for children. Executive Director Tessa Trepp-Wetjen, MPA, and Dental Director Adele Della Torre, DDS, welcomed the group and provided an insightful tour of the new space.
