Welcome, Eileen Neely!

We are proud to officially welcome Eileen Neely to the Minneapolis Uptown Rotary Club.

On Thursday, February 19, 2026, we had a strong turnout of members for Eileen’s induction. After sharing a warm breakfast and fellowship around the table, we gathered to formally welcome her into the club. Glenna Case conducted the ceremony and presented her Rotary International pin.

Eileen was first introduced to Rotary through our partnership with the Uptown Association during the Christmas tree selling event this past season. She was looking for an organization where she could make a meaningful local impact in Minneapolis and channel her energy into constructive, community-based action.

A particularly fun moment came when Glenna cited the charter induction text, encouraging Eileen to attend as many meetings as possible and volunteer wherever possible, noting that this is where a Rotarian garners the most value from membership. The room shared a knowing smile, because Eileen was already doing exactly that.

Even prior to her induction, Eileen had already been volunteering with Joyce Uptown Food Shelf and at Ella Baker School, showing up consistently and bringing positive, vital energy to our service efforts.

We are thrilled to have her officially join the club and look forward to the leadership, service, and enthusiasm she brings to Uptown.
