If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?
"Northern Italy, in a small-ish town near a port city, to immerse in their food preparation and slow-food culture, and to visit Italy's vast coast and many countries from there - Greece, Croatia, and the home of my ancestors in Germany."

If you could invite anyone in the world to be the speaker for one of our weekly Rotary meetings, who would you choose, and why?
"Someone from Habitat for Humanity, to learn more about their model of sustainable, substantial assistance, their operations, initiatives, etc."

Excluding your current job, and assuming money is not a limiting factor, what would be your dream profession?
"I would work to improve nutrition and education for children - in Minneapolis, the U.S., and internationally."

If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
"Preparation of insanely flavorful vegetable-forward entrees...and national/international policy and law governing how we feed and educate children."

You have to sing karaoke...what song do you choose?
"All I Ask" by Crowded House. "All I Ask, Is to live each moment, Free from the last, Take the road forgotten..."
