Uptown Rotary partnered again with Magers & Quinn to support Ella Baker fourth grade students!
Minneapolis Uptown Rotary continued to support literacy at Ella Baker (formerly Jefferson) school in Minneapolis. Uptown members including Charmaine Dwyer, Tom Sopoci, Guy Johnson, Stephanie Swanson, Dale Snyder, and Seth Tenpenny - along with some Ella Baker teachers - accompanied roughly 50 fourth grade students to Magers & Quinn bookstore via bus. The students were able to pick out a book - paid for by Uptown Rotary - and heard a presentation from Magers & Quinn. We are very pleased to continue to partner with both Ella Baker and Magers & Quinn in supporting education and literacy!
