When you think of “home,” where is that place in the world?
Minnesota feels like home in many ways to me. I’ve been here for about five years. Home will always be a town called Banbridge, just outside of Belfast in Ireland. I enjoy going home about once a year to catch up with family and friends.

Excluding your current job and assuming money is not a limiting factor, what would be your dream profession?
I love coffee and particularly hand-pulled espresso. The dream is to have a neighbourhood authentic espresso bar. No caramel macchiatos in sight!

If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?
Portugal, it’s a beautiful country, and the people are so genuine.

If you could invite anyone in the world to be the Speaker for one of our weekly Rotary meetings, who would you choose, and why?
James Smith, as he is straight-talking and remarkably optimistic. He is a fitness coach, entrepreneur and published author. My favourite quote from him is ‘that comparison is the thief of joy’ - I think about it many times a week.

What is your favourite item you’ve bought over the past year?
I’m a bit of a cast-iron nerd. During the pandemic, I built up my collection, and it’s been fun experimenting with them and learning how to care for them properly.
